Our family was blessed by the arrival of Lola Caroline Nuse. She was born on Monday December 7 at 10:36am. We are so excited to have another daughter and for Lucy to have a sister. We went into the hospital on Sunday night around 8:00pm. My sister Aunt Fave and Dad were in town to stay the night with Lucy, which Lucy loved so much. My labor intensified on Monday morning at 8am and I dilated from a 5 to a 10 in about 2 hours. I was so lucky to have a very easy delivery my family was shuffled out of the room at 10:20am, the doctor arrived at 10:30 and Lola arrived 6 minutes later. Our doctor, Dr. Doucet, is a rock star and made both Adam and I feel so comfortable. Since the sex was a surprise, Adam made a hat to put on as he went out to the waiting room letting our family know what we had. My dad and sister Megan were awaiting the news in the waiting room with my mom on Skype, sister Jennie on the phone with Megan and Adam had his parents on his phone. Adam's parents arrived shortly after to greet Lola. Lola has been a great sleeper, eater and most importantly snuggler. We both did so well in the hospital that we got the leave 26 hours after she was born. She is very healthy and happy. This Christmas will be extra special for us!

Lucy was helping rock Lola. She has already been such a great big sister. She lets us know when the baby is sleeping by shhhshing us, she gives Lola many kisses too. Lucy is busy busy, God certainly knew what he was doing having these two girls close together I can already tell they will be the best of friends!

Our families decorated our house when we came home. Lots of pink signs welcoming sweet Lola and balloons. When we pulled up they were outside waving and clapping along with some neighbors - Lola got to make an awesome entrance!

Lucy has been busy keeping the house picked up for Lola, sweeping and helping like a wonderful big sister!

Welcome Home Lola!
