Hank's Very First Baseball Game

Hank went to his very first baseball game tonight - we were celebrating his first month of his life. He was so precious and actually slept the entire night. Lucy and Lola always have a blast at "Daddy's office" - as you can see from the picture!

Could Life Get Any Better

Seriously? This is the total life! I am absolutely love love loving being a mom of 3. I have to say that I have been so worried about being on my own with all 3 and managing meals, nap/bedtime and nursing. I knew I would figure it out and I also know I will have my challenges but God has been good and given me a great entrance into the world of 3 kids. I went to the aquarium with the kids on Monday which would officially mark my first day with the kids on my own but I cheated and had a sitter come and help me. We got the the aquarium with the double stroller and Lola who never requests to ride in the stroller asked to be pushed - and stayed there almost the entire time. Lucy looked at me and said "Mom, I love you, can we just hold hands" and Hank slept the entire trip into town, at the aquarium and didn't wake until I had dinner on the table for the girls at home. Dare I say I could have done it without the help of Emily the babysitter? Not sure but it went really well. Today was just as good. I think the girls know that I need them to be helpful. They came home from Mother's Day out which was my first time to pick them up with Hank and they were awesome. Walked straight to the car after showing their teachers their little brother, which I was so excited they wanted to show him off. Sang songs the entire ride home, then we colored until dinner time. We played and they are all 3 fast asleep and it is 8:00pm! I have even managed to do a little laundry. I just have to say this is so much fun and although I am still recovering from Hank's birth I feel so great. Lola and Lucy are great buddies and are entertaining each other so well. There is nothing better than being married to your best friend and being blessed by amazing children. I want to bottle this time in my life!

Headed to the Movie!

This Saturday Adam, my dad and I took all 3 kids to see Winnie the Pooh. That's right we took all 3 to the movies. It was so much fun and could not have been done with out 3 on 3. The movie was only an hour long so it was the perfect test to get out and about. The movie was kid and papa Newt friendly so the entertainment was instant. Super dad got popcorn and treats for the kids so the movie flew by. It was so memorable and a total blast!
Papa Newt & Hank before the movie
Papa Newt with all 3 kiddos! I promise Lola is happy when she says "cheese" she just looks so serious!
Check out this cuties outfit!
And here we are...the Nuse family of 5! This right here is what life is all about. I feel so blessed!
After a big day at the movies Hank and Dad caught a quick nap.

Hanks First bath...way over due!

It was time for Hank to have his first bath. OK last week was when it was really time but I kept thinking is belly cord would fall off and we could soak him really well...that still hasn't happened. This little guy loved his bath. He didn't cry one peep (like his sisters on their first baths). Adam and I gave him a great bath, while my dad took pictures!

Big Sisters and Little Brother

My good friend Jen sent us these adorable outfits - personalized with each kids name on them. This is so silly - I love them so much that I could not bring myself to put them on the kids. I was worried they would get ruined, stained or something...I have had them hanging up in the kitchen visible to everyone. My mom said "why have they not worn these yet?" I told her and she reminded me how silly I was. I let the girls wear them for a short time and they are so dang cute!!! Hank has a little time before he can fit into his but has here are some picture of the girls in them. The girls thought the wings were a perfect added addition...I agreed!
Thank you so much Jen! Still wanting to know...did you make these? Do you sell them? They would be perfect gifts to give to others!

Fun with Papa Newt

This is one of my favorite pictures although it from our phone so it is not as easy to see. All the kids in our bed this morning while Adam and I were getting ready for the day! I love this life!!!
Hanging with Papa Newt while waiting on the doctor
Papa Newt brought the girls M&M shirts when he came to Corpus - they were so in love with these shirts they wouldn't take them off to get in the pool.

Building a fort! Lola insisted she was in the picture. You only could get in the tent with a hat on.
I love so many things about my mom and dad...one silly but very important one: before my mom left she stocked us up on fruit (my favorite!!) and then my dad swooped in and chopped every piece so I could have a fruit salad anytime I pleased - I am lucky and so spoiled by my amazing parents!
Lola getting ready to go to school - she loves her shades!
Dad and Lola saying cheese as loud as they could!

At last....Hank & Allie!

As many of you know the Milams are our best buddies and Brooke and Michael had their daughter Allie a few months ago. We were so excited to meet Allie which made us even more ready to meet Hank. Finally after the birth of Hank we went from 4 of us on 3 kids to 4 of us on 5 kids....might I add all under the age of 3. It is so fun to go through life with them, to enjoy play dates, talk babies, plan trips (although only one has been taken) and just hang out. Here is the first time all the kids got together. I know this will be the first of a zillion pictures of these 5 cuties!

We tried to get in the picture too - this isn't the best but we tried!

Meeting Grammie & Papa Newt

We are so thankful to have the help of my parents for a few weeks after Hank. My mom and dad staggered their trip so they could be here as long as possible. My mom arrived the day Hank was born and will leave this Sunday. My dad came in on Friday and will stay until next Sunday. My mom has done more than I can even count. Carted girls around town, cleaned out and organized closets, laundry, meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, bedtime/nap time, store runs and so much more. Gosh, when I type it out it is even more than I thought. I could not have functioned without her here. She is good about making sure I get sleep, entertaining the girls and making me rest. I have had some complications after Hank's birth which will require more resting time than usual which is a total struggle for me. I like to be up, moving and doing as soon as possible but I will not be able to. She has left my dad instructions on how to help - I have no doubt her will be just as helpful!

She loves her Grammie!
Cinderella & The Prince. I walked in while Lucy and my dad were dancing in the living room. Lucy had my dad put this crown on. Oh her imagination is awesome and I love that my dad embraces it so much!

Coming Home from the hospital and Check up

Here is Adam getting Hank in his "going home outfit"
Isn't he precious! Its amazing to me that newborn outfits were still too big.
We are so proud!!!
Look at this cutie!
All strapped in ready to head home.
Welcomed home by Lola, Lucy and Grammie - Hank brought the girls new treats too! They were all over him. It was funny he began to cry and that made Lola cry and she wouldn't go close to him the rest of the day. Now when he cries she is the first to find his paci.

At the doctor for his 2 day check up! Everything was great. - Look at my bracelet. My parents got it for me it has all 3 kids named on it...I love it!
