Double Post...is that allowed?
I have a hard time getting one post a week, much less 2 in one night. So I was feeling bad I didn't post a picture, Lucy is sleeping so there is not much to take a picture of so I ran down and took a picture of her asleep...yes I am lame. I could have done the same to Adam but he would have killed me. This picture is so funny because this is exactly how I sleep, and exactly how my dad sleeps, its genetic. Also I posted a picture of Lucy's room - just since I had the camera out and had nothing else that interesting around me.
Post without a Pic?
Will I get killed for not posting a picture? As you can see I have been working on my blog, my friends are all sporting cute blogs and mine was so plain jane, so BAM - here it is all thanksgivingish now...the key will be to change it after next week. So it was my first weekend by myself with Lucy. Adam went on a guys get away weekend, okay not the weekend, he just went for less than 24 hours. I made sure I was busy so time would fly and we wouldn't miss him too much. The missing him of course happened but time really did fly, I took Lucy to get her 3 month pics, we went to one of my girlfriends showers (who needs to start a blog...KATIE!), went to church, came home snuggled in bed, woke up did a few chores and then met some friends for lunch...BAM Adam beat us home. So now I know I can do it myself, which I needed to know because he is leaving for Vegas for business mid December for 4 days - eekk. Adam had a hard time sleeping on his camping trip so came home hang a little and opted to hit the sac when Lucy did. I rarely am up by myself and when I am...you can see I don't make much progress with house cleaning, catching up on work (although I am kind of working), or anything else...my blog took my time tonight.
We have a busy week coming up - passing out Tippi Toes t-shirts at some classes, hosting our hometeam (Bible Study) Thanksgiving at our house for 12 people on Wednesday and then packing for a week trip to Austin and then OKLAHOMA! I am so excited to see our family and to have everyone get quality time with Lucy. I have found one of the greatest joys is watching my family love Lucy. I know I will have lots of that coming up and I am so excited! I have so much which to be grateful for and I feel so blessed in love and in life. I have an amazing husband with a marriage that is out of this world, a healthy happy beautiful daughter, family that I truly consider my best friends, unbelievable friends, and a wonderful business. God is good and I am truly blessed and THANKFUL!

Exciting Week!

We have had a busy fun week. A few highlights was this historical election, I made sure to get a picture of Lucy watching TV the night of the results. We went to a watch party with a bunch of our friends, and since it wasn't too close we enjoyed hanging out and chatting. The next day Lucy and I met Amanda and Parker (7 weeks) for lunch at one of my favorite spots in Corpus. It was a really different lunch than Amanda and I were used to now with our babies. Lucy started bright eyed and wanting some attention from mom as I stood up in the restaurant swaying side to side she pooped all over my outfit, wow that was exciting so I changed her and she fell asleep about that time Parker woke up and was ready to eat. I am not sure if the girls were ever awake at the same time, but Amanda and I enjoyed every minute of our lunch. We caught up on our families, jobs and life as mommies!
