5th Anniversary, Hooks Game, Play dates and More!

Lucy and Parker...hanging out

Lucy, Connor and Parker ENJOYING a play date!Katie, Elliott, Me, Lucy and Layne hanging at the Hooks game! Girls all in pink - go figure!
Lucy and Layne are good buddies and show it!
What a great invention! One of the hardest things while shopping by myself and being prego is using the restroom - UNTIL NOW! Lucy thought she was on a fair ride and didn't want to get off. It is really random to be taking pictures in the bathroom but I just loved this!

Buzz & Daisy sent us these beautiful flowers for our anniversary - pink my favorite color!

My good friend Shanda remade the top of our wedding cake. She did such a great job, as you can see we had to eat it before we even got a picture it was so yummy!

I love being a Mom!

I totally love being a mom! I have loved being a mom since day 1, but everyday it just keeps getting better and better. As Lucy is learning, moving and talking so much more we are having a blast just being together. When Lucy wakes up in the morning Adam gets her out of bed and we all hang out for about an hour before Adam gets ready for work. Lucy explores, talks and gives lots of kisses. Adam and I love this time so much! Today Lucy and I went to the Texas State Aquarium. It was so much fun. Lucy said fish last weekend when we were at the fishing tournament so that gave me the idea. She loved it so much. She was waving at all the little creatures and squealing! Her favorite part was the baby alligators. They were very active today and they entertained Lucy so much!
So this shirt Lucy is wearing was a gift from Megan and Chris. Adam and I started this thing a few months ago of calling Lucy "Bruce". Bruce is Lucy's alter-ego. Bruce - is goofy, never sleepy, and just crazy! This shirt makes Adam and I laugh every time we put it on her!

Lucy has started to show off some dance moves. She has the head bob going on and the leg bounce. We have music going most of the day and she just loves it!

A great week with Megan and Chris

We had such a great week with Megan and Chris visiting.
They came from Cincinnati. Megan came to help me with Princess Camp and we were so happy Chris joined her. It made the trip so wonderful! We were very busy! Adam had games the first 3 days they were here and Chris didn't miss a game. We grilled out, went to the pool, went on a buggie ride and much more. One of the highlights was Megan and Chris took Lucy to the Circus. She loved it. They took pictures which I will post once I get them. We weren't sure how she reacted but she liked it so much we considered taking her back to see another show. We rented a place on the Island for the weekend and went to see the weigh in at the Deep Sea fishing roundup. It was amazing what some of these people caught. The hammer head was caught by a women and weighed about 150lbs. Lucy started saying Uncle...which Chris worked hard on and is very proud of, so are we! Lucy is gabbing so much and cruising all around EVERYWHERE! She is so dang much fun and Adam and I love her more and more each day. I am 17 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and feeling great. I feel so blessed and life is great!

Adam and Lucy fell asleep together while we were grilling downstairs. We wondered where Adam went and then I walked in to see this and couldn't blame him for the snuggle time!

Yummy 4th of July pancakes

Here are some pictures of the last few days. We had a great 4th. Adam Lucy and I enjoyed blue and red (what turned out to be pink and teal) pancakes when we woke up on the 4th. We went to the pool and then went to the Hooks game. Lucy got to see her first fireworks show and loved them! It was so fun!

We love the summer!

Summer has been so much fun! We have been so busy but I am seeing the light where life slows down a little bit. Lucy and I are enjoying the pool down the street just about everyday. Adam has had games recently so around 5:30 I take Lu to the pool for a short swim. She loves watching the other kids play and splash and imitates them as best as she can. Adam will be finished with games on Tuesday and I am certain we will be at the pool even more! She is walking like a pro now...so much she almost looks like she is running sometimes. Today I tried to get a video of her walking but she decided laying on Wrigley was a lot more fun. So another fun trick is Lucy is talking. Daddy is a word she loves to say...I don't blame her. The words we can clearly hear are Daddy, and Mommy. But Gigley (for Wrigley and lache - for milk (yes a little Spanish!) At times we think we hear other words but we will see. We are working on baby too!
