An Incredible Loss

Pictured (Mitch, Katie, and daughter Mallory)
As Katie said this morning "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Please pray for strength for Katie and Mitch this morning. She delivered her little baby boy Brody at 1:30am this morning, 1 pound 3 oz, and he did not survive. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they are both in. She has been fighting for Brody and was 23 weeks along in her pregnancy. She had one more week to go until they thought Brody would be able to survive outside of Katie. God had other plans and although it is so hard to even think of what they might be we stand firm in knowing that God is in charge. My mom and I were talking last night as we were all up praying for Brody to have strength through delivery. She had such a great way to look at this situation. The name Brody means builder. For the short time we have known Brody he has brought so much to the Williams family. This builder of a boy brought an already amazing family so extremely close together. Mitch, Katie's husband was a Rock. He was in charge of taking care of the three other children, not missing school, games, practice or even birthday parties. He just took care of whatever it was needing to be done. Through Brody, Katie was able to see the strength of her husband and the amount of love he had. She was revealed the heart of her children. She saw their concern, the gentleness and love. Max, Parker and Mallory are little lovers and let Katie know that through this experience. Her brothers and sisters have dropped everything to help and have all hands on deck to help whatever she needed. The outpouring of love and prayers from her friends is amazing. Just to look at her facebook page and see all the well wishers, dinners that have been made, packages sent. If anything Katie has to know that she is surrounding by people who love her. I can't begin to imagine how painful this healing process will be. She is a wonderful Christian who seeks the Lord for comfort. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Happy Birthday Wrigley!

Today was a beautiful day in Corpus Christi. Adam and I took Lucy to the boat show downtown and watched some wake boarders. It was so much fun. When Lucy and I came home we played in the front yard with Wrigley. They have been having so much fun together. As you can see Wrigley lets Lucy crawl all over him and she loves every minute of it. Also, Lucy is really enjoying peek-a-boo. It is really fun because she plays it all the time. During dinner, bath time, in the car and now you can see behind our curtains.

Pray for Katie & Brody

Hi friends! I am asking for you to join me in some serious prayer. My cousin Katie is pregnant with her 4th child, a little boy named Brody. She is 22 weeks along and has been having some major complications. She has been in and out of the hospital. Last night she went again and now has to stay until the end of her pregnancy. She is asking for prayers. Her placenta has a rip in it and is having a hard time healing itself. As you know the placenta is the source of nutrition for the baby. Please take just one minute and pray for her to heal and for Brody to grow healthy. She is so scared and each day does not know what to expect. I know the Lord is so powerful and can help her through this. Please pray for her especially these next 2 weeks as they are the most crucial for Brody's survival. I told Katie I would start a prayer chain - I know all things are possible with prayer. Please join me and our family. Thank you so much

Family Time

Megan, Jennie, Matt and Gannon came to visit us for the Hooks opening day and Easter. We had such a great time. We went to the baseball game, the beach, Aquarium, Church, had a egg hunt and just hung out. It is always so fun spending time with my family! I just can't get enough of them. Here are some pictures from the visit!
