A wonderful Thanksgiving!

The week of Thanksgiving was so much fun. We went to Tulsa and visited my parents, sisters, brother-in-laws and niece and nephew. It was awesome quality time for the kids and adults. We celebrated Lola's 1st birthday, Chris's 30th birthday, and Thanksgiving. We got to see Santa 2 times, went shopping and even managed to go to the incredible OU/OSU game, which OU won! It was so much fun, and makes me wish more than ever I lived closer to family.

Once Lucy and Gannon got together they were inseperable...and did everything together. I have a really funny picture of them both using the bathroom together but I thought it may be on the verge of inappriate.
Lola and Ella were big buddies too. They would sit and look at each other, Lola would crawl...and WALK around and Ella began working on crawling. These cuties are only 4 months apart, they will grow up great friends.
Our little birthday celebration - a few weeks early but she loved every minute of it.
Happy Birthday to YOU!
My mom and dad got Lola her very own chair. She is obsessed with Lucy's and now has one of her own. She was SO proud!
Our first visit to Santa of the year was at Bass Pro Shop - they had a wonderful magical North Pole

This picture makes me laugh so much. Megan and Chris got Gannon roller skates. Nothing better than skating in your undies!

Way to Go Buzz

On Friday we drove to Round Rock to celebrate my father-in-laws retirement party. It was so much fun! Daisy got the girls matching dressy outfits and they looked adorable. The party was filled with people all who love Buzz. We heard awesome stories all night and even watched a skit all about Buzz. It was a memorable amazing night. We are so proud of him for 28 years of service with the city of Round Rock! Way to go Buzz! We love you!

Sent to the Office

On Thursday I went to pick Lucy up from school with Lola and my dad whom I had just picked up from the airport. We were so excited to see Lucy's face when she saw my dad, we walked into the school all geared up to surprise Lucy. As we walked in the door the director asked if she could talk to me. I was thinking it was something having to do with Tippi Toes and scheduling but she said "Lucy had to come to the office today". What the office? She is 2?!? I said, "OK, what happened". It was nap time and Lucy was not listening to her teachers to lay down instead talking and moving around. Her teachers asked if she wanted to take a nap or go to the office. She said "I think I'll go to the office" - smart girl - she didn't know the office was a naughty place to be. The director tried to explain she wasn't listening to her teachers and that is why she needed to come to the office. Lucy said she understood and went back to her class and fell asleep the rest of the time. When we got home I told Adam that Lucy had to go to the office so he asked Lucy about what happened in her words "Well dad I wasn't listening to miss Ruth and miss Noemi so i went to the office instead, but next time I will listen" - honesty, I love it! I am still not sure she ever understood she was in trouble.

Birthday Weekend

Friday I got to celebrate my 31st birthday. It was such a great day. Adam out did himself and made me feel so special. He woke me up with breakfast in bed on the "You are Special" plate. He got the girls up and dressed while I got to take my time getting ready for the day. The girls and I played in the morning then went to meet Adam at work. We took the girls to the park and had lunch outside. He took a long lunch which I was so thankful for. I then took the girls home for naps, in which they both slept for 2 hours at the same time. Adam must have told them it was my b-day because that NEVER happens. Adam got home early and had a babysitter squared away. The Milams came over and we met friends for dinner. It was such a fun great day. Adam had taken the girls earlier in the week to paint a heart pottery charm. I can just picture them doing this. Lola stamped her foot and Lucy her hand. I was overwhelmed with all he did for me. I am so lucky he is the man in my life. He is so legit and I am so blessed! I was also spoiled by a package from my parents, and calls from all my family and many friends!

Love this sweet face!
Lola - she kept her bow in for like 20 minutes - that was a big accomplishment!
They were giggling so hard - melted my heart

I tried so hard to get a pic with my girls, it was before lunch at a playground, they were less than thrilled to pose - as you can see.
Heading out with Milam and Brooke to meet more friends for a birthday dinner Adam put together. I love Adam SO MUCH! BTW, he got me this shirt for my birthday - yes he has style too!
Hard at work
checking out her shot
Lola wanted to play so bad
Lucy would "hit" the ball, then run and get it. It certainly wore her out.
Hanging out at the driving range
Lucy loves riding her trike, we are loving this weather
Lucy is always in the middle of a story
