Happy Father's Day

We has such a fun and relaxing Father's Day. I got to talk to my dad as he was in St. Louis with Jennie and her family! He is the greatest human being in the world. Kind, loving and all about family! I just love him and feel beyond blessed that God chose me as his kid! I have learned so much from him and strive to be the kind of parent he is.
Then there is my sweet husband Adam. He is the greatest father to our children and they are nuts for him. Adam is the hardest working person I know. He literally works hard so we can have the best life. He give his all to God, to our family and to his job. He is such a leader and so tender and loving. He praises the kids all the time and makes certain they

HANK IS OFFICALLY WALKING

Today was the day Hank starting taking more steps and now is officially walking. He walked in to see me when I was in the kitchen and I nearly fell over. He has been taking 2-3 steps but they were very shakey but then to walk from our living room over to me at the sink was crazy! He went from taking 2-3 steps to about 20 at one time. After he did that the girls and I clapped and cheered and he started laughing so hard. He knew he was on to something. The girls and I got him moving all over the house. They would call his name one at a time and he would walk to them, then me and so on. He is such a sweet little boy. I texted our family and our neighbor and within about 2 minutes I hear a knock at the door - we let Hank answer the door and he did it again - he walked straight to June. Hank is about 2 1/2 weeks shy of his first birthday - WAY TO GO HANK!!!

A visit from Grandmommy & Poppy

Buzz and Daisy made a quick trip to Corpus to celebrate a lot! Daisy's birthday, Father's Day and Hank's birthday! They came last night and met us at the baseball game. Hank showed off his desire to walk and the girls were going non-stop. It was Friday Night Fireworks which is great...Except for Hank - who HATES fireworks. As soon as they start I head up the stairs with him as he clings to me, we get inside as fast as possible. The first time he saw them he did great but the last 2 Friday nights he hated every minute.
Today, we hung out at home and then grabbed lunch on the beach before it was time to say good-bye. It is always so much fun to have visitors!
Adam and Hank on the beach! Along with not liking fireworks - Hank hate the feeling of sand on his feet. I remember Lucy was this way too when she was little.
I wanted a picture of Buzz and Daisy with the kids so badly but we just couldn't get everyone in the picture. Lucy was not interested, it was nap time after a late night. At the ages our kids are - getting everyone to smile and be happy to take pictures is nearly IMPOSSIBLE!
Me and my favorite little guy!
Again, trying for a group shot. Lola was determined to stand right there - so there you have it!
 These kids love Poppy!
Friday Hank and I had a specail date - I took him to the mall early to play!! We had a blast and he loved climbing on everything!!!
Hank and Poppy strolling at the baseball game - Hank loved it!
Grandmommy brought the girls some nail polish. It was so precious watching the kids bond over nails. The conversation was priceless and they did a fantastic job!
