Happy 6th Anniversary!

Yesterday July 24, Adam and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. I am so blessed to be married to the love of my life. Adam brings so much excitement and fun to our family. He is an amazing husband and provider! I hit the jackpot when I married him. And 6 years ago today...we were on a plane to Hawaii!!!

Another Triathlon and Time with Grandmommy & Poppy

Adam had another triathlon this past weekend. It was burning hot but he still managed to amaze us swimming, biking and running competing in his 5th triathlon of the season. His Dad also competed in this event which makes the competition so much more fun for both of them. His mom is nice enough to get up and go cheer them on as I stay home with the girls. They had to leave around 4:30am in the morning and we weren't sure the girls...or I could make it. We had a great weekend after that. We took a boat ride, golf cart ride, Adam and I played golf, Lucy and Grandmommy baked cupcakes and Lola played in the tent reading books with Poppy.

She has a way of making me laugh

My sister Megan is the funniest person I know. She makes me laugh so easily over some of the dumbest thing...the latest squirrel/lizard poop. That was her latest blog post, it had me in tears that I am recommending you go read it. Go check it out Reilly's Three...it will crack you up, and actually bring up a darn great point!

Rainy Days

The weather here in south Texas has been so rainy the past few weeks. With the rain comes the horrible mosquito's which I might add are the size of small birds. You can barely open the front door without 10-20 of them flying in the house. It is awful. So when the rain clears it isn't really an option to got outside and play or take a walk. Since it rains off and on driving somewhere to do something with the girls in the car often sounds like more trouble than its worth. I would end up being some place and spending money on stuff I just don't need. So what do we do on rainy days in the Nuse house? WE...
put boxes and paper on our head
put goldfish on our head
try on new outfits
go grocery shopping in our most fashionable pair of glasses
practice sitting up
paint with pudding
bounce
wrestle

Brown Bear, Brown Bear What do you see?

Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?
This book is such a hit at our house! This week alone Adam and I have been woken up in the middle of the night to Lucy yelling for us. We go up to her room to make sure everything is okay and she says in a crying voice "brown bear brown bear what do you see, last time". She wants us to read it to her one last time (10X a night). So we give her the brief version and she falls back to sleep it is unreal! We have read it so many times that Lucy can read the entire book on her own too. It is really cute to watch and listen to. Lucy LOVES to read. Adam and I laugh that we aren't really sure where she gets it, as neither of us really enjoying reading too much. We will take it, and are very pleased!! It will be interesting what Lola thinks of reading.

We took the girls along with my parents to the circus that came to town. We weren't sure what to expect and never would have guessed what actually happened. The girls were bright eyed and awake the entire 4 hours. Well, actually Lola slept during clown school but we caught her up on everything we learned. It was so much fun. We went about an hour and a half early to see the animals and go to clown school. We got to go on the stage and meet all the clowns and entertainers. We got several pictures and enjoyed every minute.
