31 wks pregnant - Baby Hank

I feel like I haven't written anything about being pregnant with Hank and it is not because I am not totally enjoying the experience. I am blessed again with an easy pregnancy with minimal aches or pains. I can say Hank is growing though. Over the last 3 weeks or so my belly has gone from "oh, thats cute" to "WOW, he is growing". I am carrying Hank the exact same as I did with the girls and aside from actually carrying our girls up the stairs everything is pretty easy.
I must say I LOVE that Adam and I found out this time around the sex of the baby. I loved that the first 2 were surprises but now with the girls able to see my belly growing I feel like we are all very connected to Hank and just awaiting for him to come. He is very wiggly and is obsessed with green apples. That has been the biggest thing with being pregnant with him. I can't get enough green apples. I am a fruit lover by heart but green apples have never ranked so high. I eat at least 2 a day and now the girls are joining in with me. Lola clearly says apple and Lucy wants hers cut just like me.
I have been beyond impressed with many of my friends baby rooms - Brooke and Katie have the most brilliant minds to decorate. As for Hank - we are certainly working on it but I don't have near the vision that some of you mommies do. His room is already light blue (which is Lola's now and was Lucy's) and we are accenting with lime green and the "theme" if you want to call it that is alligators and elephants. I got all the bedding from the Land of Nod and trying to pull my inspiration from there. We will see!
We are blessed with good health for both Hank and I and with our due date being July 7 we are trying to make sure we can get as much done before he comes so we can just relax and enjoy his sweet little face.

A day at the park!

Last night I took the girls up to the stadium to see Adam (that was the biggest highlight for them) but also to see the Budweiser Clydesdale's Horses and enjoy the fire works - which they indeed did! I didn't know if they would last until the end of the game but thanks to a quick game, a Hooks win and awesome seats they girls were awesome! We ended up getting home last night around 11pm with both girls wide awake! Needless to say they slept in this morning. They got moving around 9ish. We enjoyed breakfast and some snuggle time and then headed to our neighborhood park.
This is how the park trip started
With it already being so HOT here (100 today) we saw that the park had a hose and so we took full advantage. Brooke, Connor, Allie and both Brooke's mom and Milams mom joined us as well. The kids had a total blast!

Lola was in love with the water!!!

Lucy and Connor decided it was best to just play in their undies!

I cherish these moments so much!

Happy Easter

There is nothing more magical than Christmas or Easter morning for a kid. It was so fun watching the girls get excited for the Easter Bunny to come visit. Although the Easter Bunny may have hidden a few too many eggs, the girls had a wonderful time!
Lucy waking up to find new shoes by the door
Lola waking up although she didn't feel great she rallied, especially when she saw a trail of m&m's going down the stairs.
Lola got the hang of this very quick
She didn't let one m&m pass her by
Lucy got an owl towel in her Easter basket with her name on it. She loved it!
Dad getting a little snuggle time with Lola in between eggs
Lucy found Scout - her new puppy that says her name!
She was telling him all about Easter - it was precious!
Look at this girls basket collection - she was a pro!
Lola had an eye for the sweet treats and also loved her new Angel towel - in fact would not take it off.
Helping Papa Newt open his basket
Papa Newt helping Lola on her hunt
Lola sharing some of her goods
Grammie and the girls out front for more egg hunting!
Mr. Camera man - so thankful for the video my dad took!
Finally got the angel town off and dress on!
Don't worry Lucy - nobody will steal your eggs!
At this point Lola had quit so Lucy had the yard to herself!
Here is Dad helping out!
Enjoying more treats on the porch.

A busy weekend!

Buzz & Daisy came down for a visit last Saturday and we had a great visit. We packed the day full of time in our backyard swing set, the aquarium, out to eat, a visit to "Cindy" the horse down the rode, topped off with an ice cream trip.
Here is Adam and Lola greeting people at the restaurant
We went to a Japanese Steakhouse and the girls were in love with the "show"
She loved the big flames - Lucy wasn't as big of fan
Feeding Cindy - horse treats
Lola got a chance too
Family photo with Cindy
This girl has become obsessed with her boots - and I love seeing her in them!

Crazy and Blessed!

If you follow our family blog at all you will know that I have not been that great at postings. It seems that life could not get much more busy and I am loving every second. I am one of those people that if I have 2 nights where I am sitting on the couch after the kids go to bed Adam and I have to find something to do. Luckily, we haven't been searching because our plate has been full. Just to fill you in a little: Having 2 kids (1 & 2) and being 7 months pregnant - WOULD NOT CHANGE A THING Adam's busiest time of year - baseball season starts on Thursday (this means his sweet face will not been seen around our house near enough nor will his incredibly HELPFUL hands) Costumes for Tippi Toes (all 400 arrived at my house to tag and distribute to kids) Shark Tank - we are blessed with constant calls on people wanting to open franchises. Megan and I are working with people on a daily basis to see if they are right for our business and if Tippi Toes is right for thier life. Audit - since we are a franchised company by law we have to be audited every single year - this is a huge pain and I HATE IT. and dun da dun...we have had a major water leak in our bathroom. Adam and I knew it was something that needed to be fixed so we had our insurance come and check it out. Now we are looking at 6 weeks of our bathroom, master bedroom, hallway, half bath and stairs being torn up. Again, we didn't think it was a huge deal but as many of you know one thing leads to another and BAM - there you have it. There have been different crews of people in and out of our house doing different jobs, and testing different things. OK now for the best part - I just have to say that all this craziness has been so stressful but has built something in me so much greater. Its been like a spiritual experience, when life gets a hold of you and you can't change much and you ride the wave and God just takes care of you. That is what is happening. Adam has been amazing being the ROCK when I feel I have too much to handle. He is the biggest believer in my dreams and is helping Megan and I take Tippi Toes exactly where we want it to go. He is such a leader in our house and he sees when I need a break and takes over with a huge smile. He is so supportive and fills me up everyday. He has Lucy and Lola wrapped around his finger. Most nights we wait on our front steps for him to come home and it is a race to see who gets the first hug. I can't imagine where I would be without him. There are so many things pulling at me in this season of life and the one person that seems to be handling everything the best is him. Our marriage has just felt God's hand covering it and I could not be more thankful. To see where God has taken us in 7 years of marriage is AWESOME. I can't wait to see what God does in the rest of our life together. Feeling very blessed and just had to share.

It has been a wirlwind around our house lately. Fave came for about a week after the airing of Shark Tank to work on answering phone calls and selling franchises! Which was a blast! The girls, Adam and I love the time we have with Megan, she cracks us up all the time and loves on our girls like we do.
ORDINARY - so the other day when Fave was here I said "Lucy do you want to wear there shorts?"
Her answer "No they are too ordinary"
That's right, that is what she said. She is using that term a ton and in the right sentences too. She sees a dress, no too ordinary. I love how her mind works.

Here is sweet Diva Lola!
I was horrible with my camera when Fave came - here is the 1 picture I did snap.
Look at what my friend sent us. YEAH!!!! My favorite gift EVER! Jen is the most thoughtful friend. I was searching for what the girls would wear when they came to the hospital to meet Hank - HERE WE GO! Thank you so much Jen!!!!
Here is Lucy forcing a smile for me during bath time.
