Some of Adam and my best friends the Jackson's live way out in the country in western Oklahoma. Adam and I had been there before kids but had not gotten to take the kids until this summer. We had a blast. It was a very short trip, too short, but we had a blast!

The After Party!!
Since the Milams were so amazing and drove into town for Hank's birthday that meant...the PARTY wasn't over! The kids played so hard and even convinced Connor to get all dolled up! As you can see he was having fun too - it wasn't all torture!

Lucy working on "who knows what"
Allie is the easiest little gal to be around. She and Hank always seem to go with the floor - at least for now!
After the kids went to bed Brooke, Heather and I decided to make cake pops. I wanted some for Hank's party and Brooke was the expert so she gave us a little lesson
The kids finally crashed out. All the adults were up and Connor had no problem sleeping amount all of us!

Happy 1st Birthday Hank
Our Sweet Hank is 1 year old! As we like to do we have had and still are having many celebrations. There is so much to celebrate with sweet Hank! We had a big party with our friends in Corpus and all their children. It was a blast and nuts all at the same time. We counted 17 kids running around crazy!!! Our sweet friends the Milams came into town to help us celebrate which made the party even more special! We are so blessed with so many good friends that spoiled Hank and made him feel so special.
Hank you are the joy of my life! Your smile melts my heart and your hugs are unreal. Not many 1 year olds can give the squeezes you do. You are walking around all over the place, you say mama, dada and ball. You know what you want and go for it. You cry and if you do we all drop everything because we know you mean business. You are so sweet with Lucy and Lola and they think the world of you. Daddy loves having you at the ballpark teaching you all about baseball. You also have some dance moves!!!! We just finished our 3rd Tippi Toes CD and it brings such a smile to your face. You clap, laugh and bounce and just love music!! Thank you for being the light of our life!! We love you so much sweet Hank!

Happy Father's Day
We has such a fun and relaxing Father's Day. I got to talk to my dad as he was in St. Louis with Jennie and her family! He is the greatest human being in the world. Kind, loving and all about family! I just love him and feel beyond blessed that God chose me as his kid! I have learned so much from him and strive to be the kind of parent he is.
Then there is my sweet husband Adam. He is the greatest father to our children and they are nuts for him. Adam is the hardest working person I know. He literally works hard so we can have the best life. He give his all to God, to our family and to his job. He is such a leader and so tender and loving. He praises the kids all the time and makes certain they

HANK IS OFFICALLY WALKING
Today was the day Hank starting taking more steps and now is officially walking. He walked in to see me when I was in the kitchen and I nearly fell over. He has been taking 2-3 steps but they were very shakey but then to walk from our living room over to me at the sink was crazy! He went from taking 2-3 steps to about 20 at one time. After he did that the girls and I clapped and cheered and he started laughing so hard. He knew he was on to something. The girls and I got him moving all over the house. They would call his name one at a time and he would walk to them, then me and so on. He is such a sweet little boy. I texted our family and our neighbor and within about 2 minutes I hear a knock at the door - we let Hank answer the door and he did it again - he walked straight to June. Hank is about 2 1/2 weeks shy of his first birthday - WAY TO GO HANK!!!

A visit from Grandmommy & Poppy
Buzz and Daisy made a quick trip to Corpus to celebrate a lot! Daisy's birthday, Father's Day and Hank's birthday! They came last night and met us at the baseball game. Hank showed off his desire to walk and the girls were going non-stop. It was Friday Night Fireworks which is great...Except for Hank - who HATES fireworks. As soon as they start I head up the stairs with him as he clings to me, we get inside as fast as possible. The first time he saw them he did great but the last 2 Friday nights he hated every minute.
Today, we hung out at home and then grabbed lunch on the beach before it was time to say good-bye. It is always so much fun to have visitors!
Adam and Hank on the beach! Along with not liking fireworks - Hank hate the feeling of sand on his feet. I remember Lucy was this way too when she was little.
I wanted a picture of Buzz and Daisy with the kids so badly but we just couldn't get everyone in the picture. Lucy was not interested, it was nap time after a late night. At the ages our kids are - getting everyone to smile and be happy to take pictures is nearly IMPOSSIBLE!
Me and my favorite little guy!
Again, trying for a group shot. Lola was determined to stand right there - so there you have it!
These kids love Poppy!
Friday Hank and I had a specail date - I took him to the mall early to play!! We had a blast and he loved climbing on everything!!!
Hank and Poppy strolling at the baseball game - Hank loved it!
Grandmommy brought the girls some nail polish. It was so precious watching the kids bond over nails. The conversation was priceless and they did a fantastic job!
