OU/TX weekend with kids!

We had many plans change for our OU/TX but the plans that worked were great!!
I hung with the kids during the game


While Adam went with Procailo and his family to the game. While they were at the game we

Cheered loud


Chalked the front porch








Went to the awesome pumpkin patch

















And then picked up Adam and went to fire station 23 in Dallas to visit our good friend Trey. He gave us an awesome tour

He pulled the truck and engine out, put the ladder all the way up and showed us how to climb it.


It was such a great tour and visit but got cut short by the alarms going off and Trey having to jump into fireman mode and go fight a fire. It was a dramatic ending but it was so cool to watch. Thank you so much Trey!


Then to wild Procalio's house. It was a total blast! He got the kids treats, candy and light savors which they loved!! They loved every minute hanging with Alexa, Adam and family!!


Lola was snuggled up to Alexa most of the night until she got brave enough to go tackle Procailo!








Lucy was very busy with her new dog training business. She was teaching all 3 dogs tricks and even put on a show for everyone at the end of the night! She has gotten so good dog training.

Lucy and Lola took over the camera and took some of Alexa and I!


Now headed home with amazing kids!! Such a fun weekend and worth every minute of the car ride!!

A great week!

Hank requested Adam wore a fire hat during story time!! Hank is obsessed!


Lucy was home for a few days by herself with me...suffering pink eye. She enjoyed every minute and so did I!!


Dentist appointment for Lucy and Hank! Our dentist is so cool!! Lola and I have our appointment later this month.





Really he lets the kids climb all over everything! He is awesome!


Messy house but happy kids!!





I took the girls on a date to the local high school play Ever After! We ran into some friends there and the girls had a blast! It was great we had front row seats, the show was only 1 hour and they got to see Cinderella and Snow White!


Lola wouldn't clap for any mean people and even after they were sing she would say YUCK - she talked the entire time asking questions it was so funny!!

Another fun family weekend!

Hanks favorite thing to do, play with his cars, tractors, trains and trucks!!




We typically let the girls dress themselves, I love their fashion sense:)












Today we took the kids to monster university. Lucy said "since I don't have a monster outfit I decided to dress like a fire girl"








Hank loved the movie!!




The girls have gotten so helpful. They have mastered emptying the dishwasher. The best part is they ask for me to put on some music, they busted out in song. Wine glasses as microphones!!!

I love my husband

Having this past weekend away from "normal life", away from our home, kids and routine just to be with Adam was the most energizing, fun, joyful weekend! I told him on one of our drives to one of the cities we went too that I simply love how no matter what we are on the same page. I love that when I say something he enhances it by adding his thoughts. That he knows my daily routines and is aware of our surrounding to make sure I am always comfortable. I love that he will talk to anyone, go any where and never stresses out. He is so funny and is so quick witted.
We had the most fun driving and talking and sharing about what our goals were for the next phases in our life. Dreams for our children, jobs, goals and so on.
It is the greatest joy to be married to my very best friend. To do life together and to share kids. I feel overwhelmed and blessed by Adams love and dedication to us and I am thankful The Lord designed our hearts for each other.
