Lucy's 5th Birthday Party

It is so hard for me to believe that our sweet Lucy is already 5 years old. I started this blog when I was pregnant with her because I wanted to capture so many memories I had in that season of our life, I didn't know I would be blogging (if that is what you can call my sparatic writings) and have so many wonderful God given moments fill my life.
To my sweet Lucy girl,
You are a dream in my life. You make everything and everyone shine brighter. There is no better word to use for you than sweet. You make everyone feel special about who they are and you always find the good in people you meet. You love meeting new people and learning things about them. You are the greatest big sister to Lola and Hank and they look up to you so much. Some big new is you FINALLY quit sucking your thumb - a hard habit to break but you did it! Dad and I admire how mature you are and how patient you are. You are so calm, generous and find the good in us all. You are the best hugger and kisser, we love to listen to listen to you pray, you have the most creative wonderful imagination, you are styling in what ever you wear, you love everything girly; tea parties, baby dolls, make up, dresses, bows and nail painting. You have a strong love for Jesus that blows me away! Truly this is my most favorite thing about you is your heart. You are loving compassionate and already shining for God. Lucy, you are destined for greatness and whatever you choose to do, do it with all of your heart and I know you will succeed. Thank you for being a leader in our family, for making us all laugh and love better!
Some of my favorite:
Your love for Jesus
When you are dressed as a character you call me Sarah and talk in a very high pitched voice
You will perform at any time for mostly anyone
You love to sing! No matter if you know the words or not
You love your extra time staying up later and being the last one to bed
You wake up happy and have the best disposition
You are an includer and love meeting new people
You love dancing, and most recently started playing tennis.
You are helpful around the house! You do your own dishes, help with dinner and always set and clear the table!
You are a good listener - which is a great example for Hank and Lola
You love waking up and being the first one to get your gummy vitamin (huge treat in the morning)
Dad and I love you with all of our hearts!!!

July this and that!

I realize as our kids grow bigger my time gets smaller - we are so busy having fun with them and not home near as much and so my blogging hasn't been as good - but life is great! Here is an update on what we have been up to.
Lucy is the queen of the kitchen - she is experimental and makes us some yummy treats. I was impressed by this one, a strawberry she made a whole in, poured powered sugar in, and put a raspberry on top - yum!
Splash park - one of Hanks favorite hang outs.
Lola chasing Hank - a common thing to see around our house these days!
Lucy, politely waiting for her friends to arrive and hanging with me.
Tippi Toes hosted a Parents Night Out, it was a huge hit! I stayed to help because Adam had a game and we had a blast with all the kids!
Some of the girls buddies - snuggling watching a Disney movie.
Lego fun!! Whenever Adam or I take a work trip we always bring a little something back for the kids. I was at a training trip in Houston and I could not resist a bigger gift for Hank - Legos! He didn't have any and oh boy they are a hit. I am not sure why Hank wasn't in the picture but I think Adam had just as much fun!
Hair shop - a weekend favorite, the girls pamper Hank, Adam and I - the boys are so fun and just roll with it.
I also took a trip to Forth Worth with my assistant the lovely Kasey to train Heather our new franchise owner in Fort Worth - we had a blast together!
My sweet baby Hank sleeping with his tractor
Full of personality and wanting to be just like her cousin Gannon she decided to start sporting pretend glasses.
Girl time! I am lucky enough to have an amazing group of friends. Our lives are all so busy that it is hard to regularly get together but we made a point for a girls weekend and I cherish that time so much.
Boat ride on the bay with this amazing gals!

Harper came to visit!!!! Look at Lola (come on pose Harper)
They loved dressing her up, making her wear different hats and being in her face.
Hank and his silly self - sporting Lolas bikini
How adorable is this sweet face!
She loved so many new toys to play with! What a cutie!

Lola cracks me up - she is the queen of selfless!!! I have like a million she has done on my phone. It cracks me up every single time bc she totally poses for them. I love this girl with all my heart!
