My cousin Katie, her husband Mitch and their 3 kids - Max, Parker and Mallory came to Corpus for spring break. They just walked out the door and the trip just went way too fast. They were the perfect guests. The kids 8,6 and 2 1/2 got to have a beach day, aquarium visit, bay fishing, mexican food and some fun cousin hang out time. The boys were in love with our dog Wrigley and every second they were here they wore him out, and Mallory and Lucy enjoyed dancing, copying each other and playing. I got some amazing quality time with Katie and Mitch. They are amazing parents, their family is so special. Katie and Mitch are expecting again in May. They are blessed with a household full of healthy happy children.

St. Patricks Day was such a fun celebration. The evening of St. Paddy's Adam, the girls and I went over to the Milams house for a homemade Irish meal. It was so wonderful. Corned Beef cooked with Guiness Beer and brown sugar with carrots, potatoes and cabbage, mashed potatoes, Irish soda bread and mint chocolate cake. It was to die for. I was excited about the night with friends but remember from years past the meal not being my favorite. But in the spirit of the day we were excited to try it again. I sure am happy I did and leave it to Brooke to make a wonderful yummy filling dinner I was in awe and loved every bite. We joined the Milams and 2 other families with their kids. Lots of playing, learning how to share and sleepy babies. It was a wonderful night!

Let the Baseball Begin!

This weekend was the first of many baseball weekends for our family. The Hooks hosted 4 teams this weekend at the field for the College Classic. Baseball took place from Thursday night - Sunday night. Adam was busy at work making sure everything went as planned. It was a preview to us of what would go on at the stadium now with 2 kids. It was so much fun! Lucy is very comfortable at Adams office running around from one persons office to the next. Adam is such a great dad too. He had either Lucy or Lola on a hip while he would talk to clients or meet with groups. It is going to be a great summer. Since Adam normally we eat dinner as a family at home we have to shift our plans. This weekend we took dinner to Adam's office along with plenty of diapers, toys and pj's. Adam was able to eat dinner, play and put jammies on while at work. The girls both fell fast asleep on the ride home. You just have to do what works - and we think this is a darn good solution! We look forward to a summer of fun!

Lola Rolling Over

Today Lola is 3 months old and you know what she did? She rolled over! It was so much fun because Adam, Lucy and I were all hanging out with Lola in the living room. She was getting time on her mat as we were all sitting around her. All the sudden there she went - she rolled over! What an awesome trick! We are so proud of her!

Tippi Toes Minnesota! Franchise Sold

Adam, Me, Jim, Tara & MeganI am so excited to announce that we just sold our second franchise to a couple in Minnesota. The deal was finalized on Friday night over a nice dinner. The couple will be starting this exciting adventure in June. They are very educated, smart, likable business minded people that will excel in this opportunity. Megan, Adam and I were so excited to close the deal and are so happy to have them on board. We have a few more possible franchisees brewing and will be excited to announce when they join!

Sesame Street Live

Headed to the show
There he is!
Lucy and Connor loving the show
Fun times with the Milams
What a great show!
Adam and I took Lucy on a special date Wednesday afternoon to Sesame Street Live. We don't watch much TV at our house, but one show that I do allow is Sesame Street. I love that it is pure and entertaining. I was so excited to get the chance to take Lucy to see it LIVE! She is a big Elmo fan, seems like most kids are. It was a great day. We got to go with Brooke, Michael and Connor. Connor and Lucy had a blast. Although Lucy loved the show, nobody loved it more than Connor. He stood the entire time and honestly I think he clapped almost the entire time too. Lucy was watching intently and would clap at the end of each song. The singing and dancing were great and it was a blast. I think I watched more of Lucy than I did of the show, it is amazing how differently you view things through your child's eyes. It was a fun day and I can't wait for next years show when Lola can join us. Lola was lucky enough to get an afternoon all to herself with Fave - what more could a girl ask for?
