Road tripping!!

We decided to drive to Florida instead of drive this year. It has become so unpredictable, stressful and expensive to travel. The last 3 flights I have take have been awful and 2 of 3 I've ended up overnighting some place I had not planned. That is how we decided we would drive to Florida so I could visit my sister and her family and Adam could go to the baseball winter meetings.
So far...so fun! Kids have been amazing, we have stopped at a hotel near casinos which the kids thought was cool, sandestin which is like heaven on earth and today seaside which is actually makes you believe you are in heaven. Could not be more happy with our kids - they are well behaved, loving the adventure and most importantly sleeping well - which to me makes the biggest difference.

Thanksgiving 2013

This year for thanksgiving we went to visit Adams parents in Austin. They have a great house overlooking the lake that accommodates everyone so perfectly. They have 2 dogs and 2 cats which the kids adore and spend most of their time chasing, petting, training and so on. There are also a lot of deer around their home so it is really fun to just enjoy as they walk straight up to their home.
Daisy is a fabulous cook and makes the thanksgiving meal look like a piece of cake. I am always amazed how she does it. I would be up a creek if I was in charge of the turkey - cooking is not my specialty.
This was one of my favorite pictures. After a day of traveling to Buzz and Daisy's and lots of playing the girls snuggled on too of each other and fell asleep. They are inseparable and I feel so blessed!

Getting ready for Christmas!

This is my favorite time of year. Anticipation for Christmas and all the magic that comes along with it. We started decorating a little early this year! It is soooo fun having 3 of the sweetest kids to prepare for Christmas with!!








We had to redo Lucy and Hanks stockings. They will be ready for Christmas!
