Pumpkin Patch 2013

70 degrees and pumpkins!!! We bundled up and sent to grab our pumpkins since we felt fall in the area. We had the rule growing up if you could carry it - you could have it. It was so fun watching the kids trying to pick up different pumpkins.

Chick Night 2013

What a night I got to have on Thursday Night. Bay Area held a night just for Chicks!! Chick Night with amazing worship music and 2 incredible speakers. Priscilla Shirer & Lisa Bevere both women are unbelievable speakers and authors. It was a blessing to be at this event!

It was a great honor to meet Priscilla Shirer. At the break all the women were standing up chatting waiting for the next speaker and I wanted to go tell her how great she did, I decided not to because I knew many people wanted to meet her. I was talking with a friend and felt a hug come up behind me - IT WAS HER!!! What a fun surprise - she said "I wanted to meet you" I was floored and so thankful! Her new book out is God is Able.

OU/TX weekend with kids!

We had many plans change for our OU/TX but the plans that worked were great!!

And then picked up Adam and went to fire station 23 in Dallas to visit our good friend Trey. He gave us an awesome tour

He pulled the truck and engine out, put the ladder all the way up and showed us how to climb it.


It was such a great tour and visit but got cut short by the alarms going off and Trey having to jump into fireman mode and go fight a fire. It was a dramatic ending but it was so cool to watch. Thank you so much Trey!


Then to wild Procalio's house. It was a total blast! He got the kids treats, candy and light savors which they loved!! They loved every minute hanging with Alexa, Adam and family!!


Lola was snuggled up to Alexa most of the night until she got brave enough to go tackle Procailo!








Lucy was very busy with her new dog training business. She was teaching all 3 dogs tricks and even put on a show for everyone at the end of the night! She has gotten so good dog training.

Now headed home with amazing kids!! Such a fun weekend and worth every minute of the car ride!!

Hank requested Adam wore a fire hat during story time!! Hank is obsessed!


Lucy was home for a few days by herself with me...suffering pink eye. She enjoyed every minute and so did I!!


Dentist appointment for Lucy and Hank! Our dentist is so cool!! Lola and I have our appointment later this month.





Really he lets the kids climb all over everything! He is awesome!


Messy house but happy kids!!





I took the girls on a date to the local high school play Ever After! We ran into some friends there and the girls had a blast! It was great we had front row seats, the show was only 1 hour and they got to see Cinderella and Snow White!


Lola wouldn't clap for any mean people and even after they were sing she would say YUCK - she talked the entire time asking questions it was so funny!!
