We took the girls along with my parents to the circus that came to town. We weren't sure what to expect and never would have guessed what actually happened. The girls were bright eyed and awake the entire 4 hours. Well, actually Lola slept during clown school but we caught her up on everything we learned. It was so much fun. We went about an hour and a half early to see the animals and go to clown school. We got to go on the stage and meet all the clowns and entertainers. We got several pictures and enjoyed every minute.

Princess Camp

This week was Tippi Toes Princess Camp! My company holds a camp for children 3-7 years old in which we create a magical experience where the children get to jump into fairy tales. We dance, work on crafts, sing and have a great time. The last day of camp is our mother/daughter tea party. It is so much fun! This year both our camps were full and it went great. Our slight problem was the scare that the hurricane would cause our city to evacuate. We moved our tea party to Wednesday to ensure all of our dancers could make it. Luckily we had a packed tea party and the hurricane didn't come all too close. Next year Lucy will get to join in camp and I it will be so much fun! She tried this year (one day)....but having mom be Cinderella was a little confusing.

Hands down I think I have the best dad and best husband in the world. Here is to you Adam on Father's Day for being the provider for our family, the protector for your girls (3), the human airplane, the tickle monster, the superior grill master, the greatest snuggler, quickest diaper changer , mr. bedtime (you rule and know it!), the girls laugh harder and smile brighter when your around!

The Big 12 Commissioner

OK gals your hubbies may know all the scoop about the Big 12 shake up that has gone on this last week but I bet they don't know the heart behind the man in charge. His name is Dan Beebe and is the commissioner of the Big 12. He has endured the most incredible week of his entire career. He has been blasted by the media and schools, he has had sleepless nights with the ultimate negotiation to figure out to save the Big 12. His way of doing this - PRAYER! He left it up to the Lord to help him figure out what most called the impossible. He kept reading the Bible in particular the book of Daniel 2:20-23. With the help of God he found away to save the Big 12 (BOOMER SOONER!)!

The reason I write this is because I find it so awesome that even in the highest positions people need God and seek God. Dan is married to my cousin Molly and they have sent verses and prayer requests from us last week and the beginning of this week. We have seen first hand how powerful prayer is and how no matter who you are you are in need of prayer. I am so proud of him and Molly and I see God's light shining on them now. So as your hubby is talking sports, shed light on the situation and let him know the heart behind the man.

Praise the name of God forever and ever,

for he has all wisdom and power.

Lola turns 6 months!

Sweet Lola you are 6 months old today. I can't begin to tell you how much joy and love you have brought to our family. You are happy all the time and smile at friends and strangers. You get especially happy when Lucy is around. You love watching her play, she makes you laugh so much! You are so snugly and cuddly and I love every minute of it. You have challenged me with your sleeping habits as you would much rather prefer to snuggle in the middle of bed with Dad and I, however we can't catch much sleep that way. The last few nights you have finally slept through the night which I am so grateful for. You are sitting up only toppling over every now and then. You can roll over from front to back and back to front. You love your paci and have gotten really good at taking it out and putting it back in all by yourself. You are eating rice cereal and seem to really like it. Your new favorite thing to do it swim rather in the bathtub with Lucy or in the pool you do a great job. Thank you for blessing our family so much. We are so excited to see what God has in store for you. We love you more than you know!

A cupcake kind of day!!

Today Lucy, Lola and I baked cupcakes and rice crispy treats in the kitchen. Lucy loves her kitchen helper that gets her up above the counter. Lola sat in her high chair and watched every ingredient go in smiling the entire time. It was a great time, then it was time for baths! It was a fun day! I love these girls so much!!
