A visit from Grammie & Papa Newt!
My parents came to Corpus to help celebrate Lola's 3rd birthday! It is always so special to have them at our house. The kids love showing off and love being around them. It was a quick trip but I cherish every minute!
Waking up Lola for her birthday breakfast in bed!
Lola got her huge Minnie Mouse - she is obsessed with Minnie and this made her day!
My mom and Hank!
Tradition - not a healthy one but donuts in bed!!
The family sitting on Lola's bed!
Lola and Grammie - Twinkies!!
Her facial expressions are priceless!
Sing Happy Birthday 1 more time!
Lola & Grammie decorating the Christmas tree
Hank wasn't feeling good for part of my parents trip so my dad (who just woke up) was on Hank duty while we are getting ready for the party. Hank laid on him for about an hour like this before going back to bed.
Ta Da!
My parents drove to Corpus this time because they brought Hank a train table. OMG he is in love with it. It has been so fun to watch him really play hard. Every single day since they left this is where you can find Hank!!
Another fun tradition is making cookies with Grammie. Ever since the kids were really little (yes they still are) but when Lola was a newborn and Lucy was 15 months they began working on cookies. Every time my parents come to town it is the popular request! Hank loves testing the batter - but who doesn't!
And check these two out. While playing outside they found one of the few spots that has complete dirt in it and turned the hose on - oh joy - bath time for all!
We also went and looked at Christmas lights in our Frosty pi's! We looked in our neighborhood which was such a highlight! Lola in particular loved every minute - yelling out the window and clapping at the job well done!
Girls have gotten really good at "the cool pose" - Hank not so interested!

Visit to Santa 2012
The kids were so excited to get to see Santa! They had already planned what they were going to ask him for.
Lucy: Playhouse, Princess Flip Flops and Doctors Kit
Lola: Minnie Mouse Scooter, Cash Register and Playhouse
Hank: Car, Car and Car
They yelled at Santa the entire time we were in line. They blew him kisses and kept saying "Thank you for Benton" our elf that he sent us. He was so magical and precious with the kids. He did the famous Santa wink and hugged, smiles and listen to their wishes. It is such an honor to be a mom to these 3 kids. They are the joy in my life!
Happy 3rd Birthday Lola!
Happy Birthday Sweet Lola! You are such a beautiful blessing in our life! You are SO FUNNY and have such a sweet heart. You love Lucy and Hank so much!!! You love wrapping your arms and legs around us giving us huge hugs. You love going to school. You are the only girl in your class and that doesn't phase you a bit. You play so well with other. You LOVE TO SING! You sing almost everyday. You make up your own songs about the things you see around you and do it in the most darling high pitched voice. You also love to read. You love to read all our stories at night all by yourself. You have a very creative imagination and make up the funniest stories. You are very determined and love doing things by yourself. You have amazed Dad and I with all you have done. You mastered potty training day and night so quickly - you were potty trained at 2 yrs 2 months and we are thankful for fewer diapers. You have been so great about going to school and you walk in with such confidence every day. You are the most friendly little girl! You love saying hi to people and you LOVE SANTA!! You play so well with older kids - Thanks to your big sister Lucy. You look up to Lucy so much and enjoy playing with her best! You always say "Lucy is my bestest friend". You and Hank are buddies too! Sometimes you decided to ditch the girly stuff and join Hank playing cars - he loves it when you do that and so do I. You make every day so much better and brighter. I can only imagine what God has in store for you this next year. You are beautiful inside and out and I love you with all my heart!
Thanksgiving program & decorating for Christmas
The girls were precious at the Thanksgiving show! Singing & a little dancing!!
We decorated early this year! We had a blast. Poor Hank didn't participate he went to bed early but he loved it when he woke up!
The last tball game was super cute. Adam did an amazing job as coach. He got each child their own bobble head trophy and gave them all special awards.
Lola - Rookie of the Year!
Adam is not only the best coach but the cutest coach too!
Lucy got the award of Miss Fashionista! Funny award but perfect for her. She only wore her uniform the right way at the first and the last game. All the other games she either wore a skirt, hat, jewelry or something to spice up her outfit!
