On our weekend away Adam and I went to south bend to cheer on the Sooners at the OU/ND game. It was so fun!! We stayed in a little cabin on the lake, met up with some of our best friends and watched OU beat ND.
Here is a picture of one of my longest best friends ever. Caroline and I grew up together in Tulsa and went to school together all our years until college when she went to ND and I went to OU. The last time I was at ND was when I was a Sophomore in college. This trip was very important trip in my life. I was given the option by On the Border restaurant to either keep my job and work that weekend - or if I went to the game I was fired. I had just bought a car and needed to make my car payments. I came back from the game without a job and that was the start of Tippi Toes!

Adam and I got to go with the Crafts on a tour of the locker rooms.

Love seeing this huge OU semi

Before the game! Nothing like getting time with this guy!

Adam and his best friend Adam Procailo. Who always makes time together fun!!!

The Nuses and Procalios! Alexa and Adam got married in June. This was our first time getting to hang with the newly weds since the wedding.

Drew and Christy Wight. Drew was Adams college roommate and great friend.

Adam has business meetings in Louisville and Vegas and a break for the weekend. So I drove the kids and I to Tulsa - my parents are watching our kids while it go hang with Adam and then we join friends at the OU/ND game in south bend.
Our 13 hour drive - kids were pretty good but that amount of time in the car is never fun! Here is a pic of hank trying to escape his seat belt and the girls bored out of their minds.

Finally we made it to Tulsa!

Queen of the selfies!!

Bathtub fun at my parents!! This brings back memories!

To me there is not much greater than watching your children play! Hank adores being outside, trucks, fire trucks, tractors and such. He has such a fun day playing at the park while his sisters were at Tippi Toes!! I adore this little boy with all my heart!

Since the season just ended we are lucky to get a super relaxed schedule for Adams work - 10-4 Monday-Thursday and then off on Friday. It spoils me so much. Adam is so fun, so helpful and it just is the way life should be...together!

I got a new curling iron thing that is super cool and the girls wanted me to try it on them this weekend. Here they are posing!

Hank is so good playing "girl games" so the girls decided they would play cars. Hank was in heaven. He is obsessed with cars!

Date night this week we went out with 2 of our favorite couples. Pictured the Butchers, not picturedu the Diaz family! Good friends and so much fun!!

Hank let me rock him like a baby!!! I curled him up in my arms, rocked and sang to him and he was lights out - love this face!

The girls found my old dresses and got all dolled up!! The one Lola is wearing I wore for my kindergarten pictures and my sister Jennie wore the one Lucy was wearing. They looked so adorable! These girls are best friends and love each other so much - makes momma happy!!

While Hank was napping the girls asked to go run with me. It was so much fun!!!

Well we didn't make it very far...but we had a blast!

We also got to celebrate our friends Jacob and Christina for their birthday. We had dinner at our neighbors house (Jacobs parents) and surprised them with this cake. Typically June, Christina and I make the cakes for the kids bday but this time we surprised my them. It is a dog bone - they are obsessed with dogs and this seemed to be an easy cake for us!

Luke 2:52

It is a blessing that our children attend a sweet little Christian MDO program. They hear amazing Bible stories, socialize with little friends their age and learn to listen to others and be in a classroom setting. All of this is so wonderful. At dinner Adam and I always ask the kids to recap their day. On Monday night Lucy said "repeat after me Luke 2:52, Jesus grew tall" - I was in awe!! Her first memorized Bible verse! It brought such joy to Adam and I. I know she has heard many verses at church, school and at home but the fact that she memorized and shared it with us was so special. So proud to be her mom!!
