We had a wonderful franchise conference in St. Louis this year! It is one of my favorite times of year when all of our owners get together to share idea, encourage each other and dream of what is next to come. Megan and I arrived early to get ready for our awesome group. We started with checking out the local restaurants. Of course we had our little future CEO's with us...whom were delighted in dabbling in the food survey!
Next we went over to Wash U where Jennie works to check out our meeting space. It was so fun to have both sisters together. Jennie was gracious enough to allow us to rent part of her work building. It was newly remodeled, had a game room when the husbands got bored of our chatting and was close to so many happenings in STL.

While we were busy working Adam took our kids to the Arch. Hank still talks about how much fun it was that day when he was way up high. It was certainly his highlight!
And a little dressing up too! Jennie hosted Adam in the kids for most of my meetings, and as you can tell they managed to have a blast!

Day of serving! The heartbeat of Tippi Toes is loving on others! Love on dancers, parents and families. This year we stepped outside of Tippi Toes and had the joy of visiting St. Louis children's hospital. Lucy was so excited she got dressed up with me. Anna and Repunzel...she plays her perfectly!
The most touching and challenging part of the conference. The joy these characters brought the patients young and old. Everyone likes to make believe. We are happy that it helped them forget about their pain even for just a little while!

We got the privilege to visit two different hospitals. This was one of the groups that went, danced, sang, crafted and visited the children.
One on one meetings!!! Share the vision, set some goals and articulate a business plan for the year.
So honored that our sister and her husband could attend our annual dinner.

While we were in meetings Saturday Adam, my parents, Jennies family and my cousin took all the kids to Grants Farm for some fun!

Now back at home we have the honor of serving the families in our community who are less fortunate. It is so important to Adam and I to show our kids how to be the hands and feet of Jesus and what that really means. How God calls us to love one another no matter who they are. This time we helped fill backpacks for kids who were going to school without. The kids had a blast filling the backpacks, writing letters to them and sharing God's love!
Sitting at curbside with many of the young children we have been praying for. I love how much more comfortable our kids are becoming in an environment that is far different than theirs. They are sharing their smile, their love and their hearts and forming bonds with many of the children in this community.
The moment of excitement when the labor they poured into the backpacks and now getting the chance to hand everything out!
Love knows no language. This little girl was moved to BG from Africa and doesn't know a lick of English. She and Hank shared laughs, swinging and running around the park. This is one of my favorite pictures ever!
